Hay huts and viewpoint route

The start of the route is at Reichentaler Straße in Hilpertsau. Along the art trail, numerous works of art line the path. Upon reaching Reichental, cross the street and head towards Fatimakapelle. Initially uphill on wide paths, then reaching a narrow trail and the challenging part of the hike. At the Dachssteinfelsen, there is a great view of the Murgtal. Continue towards Rockert and on a rocky path to the Elsbethhütte, from which a fantastic view of the fore-Murgtal and the Rhine valley rewards you. After a short steep path, turn left on a wide hiking trail towards Heilwiesen. Now the hikers briefly leave the waymarking of the hiking trail system and go down through the valley to Lautenbach. After a final ascent to the Wegkreuz Haiderain, you find yourself on the Old Wine Road. Via Käferplatte into the Igelbachtal with the Igelbachbad and the spa park, continuing across the rocky path you reach the Gernsbach Mitte light rail stop.
