Scenic hike high above Amden
The Hasebode high path ideally expands the range of high routes in Amden. From the mountain station of the Mattstock chairlift, it goes westwards through the Niederschlag forest. The hiking trail leads on an almost level route to the Hinteraltschen alp. From there, the path initially rises only gently. After a short but steep ascent, the highest point of the hike is reached, the Oberfurgglen alp.
Linthebene and Lake Walenstein at your feet
The Hasebode route now continues on an alpine path to Hasenboden and then on a wonderfully wide hiking trail through the forest to the Durschlegi viewpoint. At your feet lie the Linthebene and Lake Walenstein, and opposite you can see the unique panorama of the Glarus Alps. Wonderful! After this well-deserved break, it is not far to return to Amden via the hiking road. An easy hike for the whole family!
