The hike leads around Hasborn, Ober- and Niederscheidweiler. The section between the Lindenhof in Niederscheidweiler and Hasborn takes on an almost alpine character. The landscape around Ober- and Niederscheidweiler, through which this hike leads, is characterized by Devonian bedrock. On the plateau, the available areas are mostly used agriculturally, and the steep slopes to the Alf and Sammetbach streams are covered with forests.
