Hare and Thinking Trail Ring

Following the main street we cross the village of Usseaux admiring the many beautiful murals, after the large wash house leaving the last houses, we encounter the Canton mill, a historic water mill with its large water wheel, the last remaining of the three present in Usseaux. We now take the marked Hare path. The path enters a magnificent larch grove; we follow it until we meet path 332A and take it, turning left and proceeding towards the pastures of Montagne di Usseaux.When we reach a fork, we turn left onto trail 332 and then at the fork below turn left again, always keeping to trail 332 following the obvious trail We meet a footbridge that crosses a stream and becomes a wide track called the Sentiero del pensiero trail that takes us back to the parking lot at the entrance to the village.Along the way, a series of wooden signs that recite maxims and aphorisms in French Provençal (patois) and Piedmontese characterize the trail.
