Harbach Loop, variant B

We start the tour in the direction of Bornich. In front of the country inn "Nassauer Hof" we turn right into Brückenstraße and shortly after, after about 50 m, we turn left again.

At the outskirts of Weisel, the signage leads us onto the paved "Schäfersgraben". We only follow this for a short stretch and turn right immediately behind a tool shed. At the Bornich water house, we turn left and follow the path past "Haus Bonn" until we are back on the paved Schäfersgraben. From here, we continue downhill to the Lower Harbach Mill.

Behind the mill, we follow the signage to a large crossroads. Here, variants B and C split.

For the slightly shorter B variant, we turn right. After about 800 m, we reach Kräfter Weg and follow it towards Weisel. From the fish ponds onwards, the path is paved. Passing the barbecue hut, we reach the Lindenwiese.

We walk right across the Lindenwiese, past a small biotope, parallel to the paved path until we meet it. Soon we cross Neupforter Straße and walk through Birkenweg to the Blücher monument.

We cross Altpforter Straße and arrive behind Hannott’s restaurant along Jahnstraße back to the starting point of our circuit.

Postscript February 2023:

Unfortunately, we had to notice that signage has been "manipulated" on almost all paths. Signs have been torn down or smeared, posts pulled out and stolen, or reinstalled twisted.

At first, we still tried to replace the missing signs, but by now there are no new signs or capacities left to constantly walk the paths.

We therefore strongly recommend using navigation and looking at the map for the hiking routes.

The reasons for so much vandalism can only be speculated on at this point.
