Hagart

Starting from Zofingen train station, you pass through the old town and reach the Trottenrain at Trottenweiher. This steep but short path leads to the upper Rebbergstrasse, which you follow until it joins the Schlossbanwald. You follow the forest path to Bottenwilerstrasse, point 594. After a few meters on the road, you return to a forest path in Cholerwald, which after a large curve again joins Bottenwilerstrasse. Shortly thereafter, you reach a well-developed forest path leading to the Hagar hut. This romantic hut "Bim eichige Stock" belongs to the municipality of Bottenwil. The well-furnished hut can be rented for a fee. After a stay at the Hagar hut, continue southwards and, after a steep descent, reach the village of Bottenwil.
