On this tour, the Tux main ridge lies opposite like on a silver platter. The ascent is manageable for everyone, as the Eggalm cable car already lifts us above the tree line, and from there it’s almost just a hop to the grassy Grüblspitze. To enrich the experience, we consider the extensive descent through the Junstal back to Lanersbach. It conveys the typical picture of the "alpine meadow" green Tux Alps and offers an interesting extra with the Stoankasern demonstration cheese dairy.
From Lanersbach, we float up to the Eggalm, 1950 m, and head upwards in the ski area on the wide trail. Behind the highest ski lift station, this is replaced by a path that crosses the east ridge – becoming somewhat steeper towards the end – up to the summit of Grüblspitze, 2395 m.On the other side, down to the nearby Zilljöchl, the saddle separating it from the higher Ramsjoch, and left into the sloping grassy flank, which is adorned with wonderful flora in summer. One crosses the slopes at Junsberg and walks through somewhat rocky terrain diagonally overall towards the Junsalm high pasture. Here is the Stoankasern snack station at 1984 m with the demonstration cheese dairy. Mark Zahel
