Not so much on hot summer days, but rather in spring and autumn, this pre-Alpine hike shows its most beautiful sides. It crosses the Fischauer Mountains, located east in front of the Hohe Wand. Along the way, their highest peak, the Größenberg, is also ascended. Continuing toward the Emmerberg ruins and returning via Winzendorf to Bad Fischau creates a circular route for more demanding hikers.
