The small circular tour leads from the Jakob Chapel in Brigels, offering scenic views high above the Vorderrhein Valley, up to a scenic forested ridge. The hiking destination is the enchantingly located baroque St. Nicholas Chapel; along the way there are two rest areas with barbecue facilities.
At the Sogn Giacun Chapel, 1306 m, at the upper edge of Brigels, we follow the paved road slightly uphill towards "Plaun da Plaids" (to the left of the chapel a mountain path leads to Sogn Clau, our return route). We pass a bio farm and 30 m after this leave the road to the left onto a narrow paved path (sign Tschegn Dadens Sut). This soon turns into an unpaved alpine path and passes through a sparse pine forest. Ten minutes later, at the location named Artugl, 1411 m, we continue straight ahead. At Cuolms da Runs, 1460 m, a large clearing with a fountain, a few rocks invite a short rest. About 20 minutes later, we reach the fenced fireplace Plaun da Plaids, 1540 m, with picnic tables, barbecue facilities, and firewood. Before continuing the circular trail from there, a detour to Grep da Plaids is suggested. In front of the gate of the rest area, a hiking sign points left to a path that initially runs somewhat parallel to our outward route and then after about 75 m leads right uphill
