Starting point: Talstation Graukogel parking lot in Bad Gastein. From the parking lot, follow trail no. 525 to the middle station and then further to the mountain station, then towards Graukogel. From the Hüttenkogel - Graukogel junction very rocky, sure-footedness required, partially secured. Descent to the junction and approx. 15 min ascent to Hüttenkogel. Descent into the valley as ascent.
