Grange di Front - second option
Passable on foot or by mountain bike, the route alternates wooded dirt sections and edges of cultivated fields with paved roads. You travel on dirt roads in a rural environment and the Rio Verdeis valley, which is wooded and rugged.
The route in its initial section offers an open view over the local fields; in the second section, instead, you enter the lowland woods that make up the Vauda Reserve. There are elevation changes.
Author’s recommendation
It is important to bring water and wear comfortable shoes. In the Vauda reserve, it is also allowed to access by bike or horseback without leaving the trails.

Safety information
The Reserve can be freely visited except for the military state-owned area marked with no-entry signs.
Tips and suggestions
Especially in spring and with crops in the field, do not step on the cultivated fields. It is also reminded that in the Reserve it is forbidden to hunt, access with motorized vehicles, park on the meadows, light open fires, scare animals, or pick or damage plants and mushrooms.
Roadbook
At the first fork in the path, which will take you out of the village, follow the markers with number 8. Reach the edge of Palazzo Grosso and leaving the village on your left, follow the path to the right (unmarked path) through the forested area. Continue along the path without ever turning, until you return to the starting point in Grange di Front.
