First moderate, then briefly very steep uphill. At the summit cross there are also a few inviting benches for the rest. Leisurely downhill through the forest we reach Gleichenberg again and follow the Erzherzog trail (village chapel trail) to the center. There we find some places to stop for a reward.

We start at the bus station and first walk leisurely through the spa park and the Gleichenberger Gorge. At the Hotel Schl"ossl, follow the hiking trail to the left. From now on, the Gleichenberg adventure trail. Uphill to the Enzian hut and the lookout tower. Then downhill and be careful not to miss the turnoff to Gleichenberger Kogel! (Before the old church path, turn sharply right!)
