Giessbach Falls

The Lake Brienz and the Giessbach, which cascades down a steep drop of about 400m, are the focus.
The path starts immediately very steeply in a zigzag upwards, past the Grandhotel to the 14 cascades of the Giessbach Falls. Especially during snowmelt, an impressive spectacle unfolds.
Continuing past the Schweibenalp, the trail goes downhill through the forest to Hagweid. As soon as the forest clears, there is a clear view of the lake and the Brienzergrat. At the lake shore, the path continues to the destination Iseltwald, from where you can return to the starting point by ship.
