Directly at the parking lot there is a bridge over the Gerlosbach. Cross this and then follow the riverside walking path upstream until you reach the new cemetery of Gerlos. Shortly after the cemetery, go right up the hill, past the heating plant to a forest road. Along this, ascend briefly and then steadily descend until you reach the bridge at the starting point again.

By train to Jenbach (IC stop) and from there by regional train to Zell am Ziller. Continue by bus to Gerlos.

Directions

From the east via Zell am See and Krimml over the Gerlos Pass and then back down to Gerlos.

From the west via the A12 Inn Valley Motorway to the Zillertal exit, then continue into the Zillertal to Zell am Ziller and there turn off towards the Gerlos Pass. Continue on to Gerlos.

Small, free parking lot at the rope park between the districts of Gmünd and Ried or paid parking lots in the town center of Gerlos.
