Gerlitzen, "Traumbogen"
On this scenic loop, we enjoy unobstructed views in all directions. It also takes us to some interesting installations and artworks.
In two stages, we float from the valley station of the Kanzelbahn to the mountain station of the Gipfelbahn. From the WW on the summit of the Gerlitzen, we follow trail 4 to Berg-Reich, 1890 m. Large stones with ornaments and stone patterns on the ground are meant to represent the creation story of the mountain. At the junction of the Höhenrundweg, we keep right on the path down the slopes to a WW, from where we take a road to another WW and, crossing the Gerlitzen summit road, reach a large wooden pole, the "Himmelsspirale", 1850 m.We then continue following trail 2, which descends through meadows to a drag lift and ascends again to a road, 1805 m. We pass under the Gipfelbahn and hike in a large arc to a junction with WW, from where we take trail 6 down in some hairpin bends to the Asian Rock Garden, 1735 m. We now follow the WW "Bergeralm/Feuerberg." First, it goes down to the valley station of the Finsterbachlift, then up to Schönfelder Kreuz , 1740 m. After a few meters on the
