From Geistthal, follow the trail sign No. 537 on the road into Kirchleitnergraben. After about 1 km, turn right into Lukasgraben, then soon left to a residential house and just before it sharply right, ascending into the forest. After about 2.5 km through the yard of the "Grießer Farmer", follow a meadow path to the "Grießer Cross", here turn right (junction with path 538) to Hl. Wasser (place to stop and refresh). We follow the asphalt road downhill into Forstbauergraben and then uphill again to the WH Kapitel (place to stop and refresh). Above the house, follow the markings left to the Hubertus Chapel and then continue uphill along a forest and footpath to Ochsenkogel and to the junction with path 535, which leads from Deutschfeistritz over Gleinalm to Preg. From here, the Gleinalm hut can be reached in about 1 hour, where overnight accommodation is possible.
