Take the train to Ellwangen station. From the central bus station (in front of the station), you can take line 7867 to the Ellwangen-Schönenberg stop. Cross the street and follow the footpath until you reach Schönenberg street. Then follow the street to the left to the start of the route at the Schönenberg pilgrimage church.Directions
From Aalen: Follow the B290 to Ellwangen, drive through the town on the B290, cross the Jagst, and follow the signs to the left toward the hospital. Follow the road through the two tunnels and continue out of Ellwangen. At the first traffic light outside Ellwangen, turn left. Follow the road to Schönenberg, turn right into the village, and follow the signs to the Schönenberg parking lot.
From Crailsheim: Follow the B290 to Ellwangen and continue to the first traffic light in Ellwangen. Turn right here and follow the road through the two tunnels and continue out of Ellwangen. At the first traffic light outside Ellwangen, turn left. Follow the road to Schönenberg, turn right into the village, and follow the signs to the Schönenberg parking lot.
From the A7: Follow the L1060 toward Ellwangen, continue straight at the roundabout, and turn right at the traffic light intersection. Follow the road to Schönenberg, turn right into the village, and follow the signs to the Schönenberg parking lot.
