Starting from Galtür village square, you take the path towards Jamtal and first reach the Menta Alm, initially steeply then flat. Here, at the beginning of the valley entrance, you have a unique view of the Jamtal glacier. This hike offers two cozy places to stop, the Menta Alm and the Scheibenalm, inviting you to linger. Additionally, there is the opportunity to taste Paznaun specialties. Especially at the end of June / beginning of July, the blooming alpine roses provide an additional impressive hiking backdrop. Return: same way back.
