The Wormser Hut is just a quarter of an hour from the summit station of the Sennigrat. For a first intermediate goal, or even a break, it is a bit too close. But postponed is not abandoned, as the saying goes; so we will visit the hut with its panoramic sun terrace on the way back. We just used the comfortable ascent aids: with the Hochjochbahn from Schruns to the Kapellalpe, then on with the chairlift to the Sennigrat. But now it’s up into the world of peaks and ridges. The Kreuzjoch is a grateful summit, just a tight half hour from the Wormser Hut. It can be climbed without difficulty on the way to the Zamangspitze. The ridge path to the Zamangspitze then runs with slight ups and downs to a saddle, before the slightly difficult summit ascent begins. One is rarely alone on the Zamangspitze. The steep peak is a popular hiking destination. Nevertheless, the summit offers one of the finest panoramas: Sulzfluh, Drei Türme, Schesaplana and the Zimba with the Vandanser Steinwand. Back
