From Saint-Florent to Punta Mortella

On this great coastal hike to the lighthouse at Punta Mortella, untouched coves await, as well as the clear water of the turquoise to deep blue shimmering Mediterranean and beach walks along fantastic sandy bays. From the parking lot above Fornali Beach, take the second gravel path turning right (sign "Chemin du Littoral") towards Fornali Bay. The path soon turns into the coastal trail and leads left along the coast, through a gate (private property – do not leave the coastal path!) and finally through another gate on the coastal path to the paradise bay with the fantastic dune beach at the mouth of the Buggio. Clear water, a long, wide sandy beach surrounded by beautiful macchia and the azure Mediterranean create a breathtaking atmosphere.
