From Miécourt you quickly reach the foot of Mont Terri via Cornol. Once the short ascent is done, you enjoy a beautiful view from up there of the villages Courtemautruy and Courgenay. Then you follow the signpost of the "Via Jura" towards "Outremont/Col de la Croix". After a short stretch on an asphalt road, you first go through the forest before enjoying the panorama again on the ridge. Then the pleasant part of the hike begins: The path gently zigzags downhill to St-Ursanne. The town mainly consists of buildings and townhouses from the 14th to 16th century. City tours can be booked at the tourist office, but you can also explore the town on your own: fountains, city gates, the collegiate church with cloister and chapels are worth a visit. But St-Ursanne is also a popular destination for art lovers and "fancy noses": numerous galleries and workshops invite you to linger, and the Sunday market also attracts many visitors.
