The Friedwald Kirchheimbolanden is located about 2.5 kilometers west of Kirchheimbolanden (Wikipedia). From the Friedwald Kirchheimbolanden parking lot, you first go through the Friedwald to the place of meditation, which lies about 50 meters slightly off the Kuhkopfweg. After a short detour upwards over a small path, you go steeply downhill for a bit and then continue on a path heading south. Just before the Gutleutbach, you cross the forest for a few dozen meters.
The route then follows the Gutleutbach through the valley. It often pays off to go down from the path directly to the stream and follow the stream directly. After heavy rain in recent days, the valley is very damp, and large wet areas may form on the meadow. At about kilometer 4 of the route, an asphalted road comes from the other side of the valley. Shortly thereafter, there is a path running roughly parallel to the road at a distance of 10 to 15 meters up to kilometer 4.8. There a path leads uphill.
After about 500 meters, go cross-country to the left heading south to a path and follow that westward. At kilometer 6, go cross-country again – this time to the right heading northwest and uphill. There seems to have been a path here earlier that is somewhat overgrown.
Following it, continue heading northwest until at an intersection you follow the Red Path back to the Friedwald.
