Offer a versatile route of about 15 km to be done on foot (hiking or trail), at your own pace (a full day or a few hours) and easily adjustable (lengthen or shorten) according to your wishes.
Very beautiful route passing by the Freyr rocks with superb views of the rocks and the Meuse, as well as via the Cascatelles which are crossed several times by the path.
A break is essential to discover the ruins of Château Thierry.
The route is clearly technical with significant elevation gain.
Bivouac possible at Freyr.
Passing near the Caracole Brewery for those who would like to take a refreshing break on the terrace or visit the place which is definitely worth the detour.
Also consider Belgian Alpine Club insurance for your hikes in Belgium and abroad.
