Together with the Gothic Route, the Zeißberg loop FR 10 leads southwards from Freistadt. A large war cemetery invites reflection while passing through. About 200 meters after the railway crossing, FR 10 turns left to the south. Over meadows and forests, passing farms, we reach the southernmost point of the hike and from there in 45 minutes the summit of the 802-meter-high Zeißberg. Descent as ascent and then we follow the signpost "Old Town Freistadt" back.
