Along the path (trail marker no. 536), you can observe an old kiln, terraces of ancient fields, and a presence of common junipers. From these balconies, you can enjoy a view of the meadows below, which, from May until the end of June, display wild orchid blooms.
Following the “Junipers Trail” signs, leave the path to Ambruna and descend to the left (trail marker no. 536B) along a steep slope until reaching a hill dominated by a solitary juniper.
The route continues among limestone cliffs, grassy slopes, and rocky outcrops, until reaching the boundary of the Reserve, then joins a wide mule track leading to the hamlet “la Cota”.
Continuing along the paved road leads back to the square of the Foresto school.
An ideal itinerary to take during the cold seasons.
Derived from the technical difficulty and the stamina requirements.
