Forest Trail

As you walk through the forest, you’ll be surprised to see a small chapel by the side of the road. This is the 19th-century Chapel of the Virgin Simeon, which, according to legend, would bring a husband to the young women who came to pray there and leave offerings.
About 11 km southeast of Sillé-le-Guillaume.
Start/End: Vinnay:
• From “Vinay,” pass by the water tower and the Croix de Vinay; after “Saint-Aignan,” turn right. • Continue toward “Grand Oualet” and turn left after “l’Oisellerie.” • Turn right onto the dirt road toward “Meslier.” • Turn left toward the small Saint-Siméon Chapel, then at the intersection, head toward Conlie, passing in front of the Barricade, and then return toward “Vinay.”
