An idyllic circular hike with the Wasserweg along the babbling Eyach as the highlight of the route.
There is a choice between 3 route options because several paths lead from Eyachmühle to Lehmannshof.
Option 1: Eyachmühle – on the "Dobler Sträßle" (also "Dobel-Wildbad-Sträßle") over the bridge to the right Eyach side – always stay on the path along the lower valley slope (do not turn onto the left-branching paths like "Pfeiffersweg", "Schaiblesweg") – "Hirschbrunnen" – "Lehmannshof". Return on the so-called "Wasserweg", which runs directly next to the stream. Further over the temporary bridge above the small dam of the Mannenbach water supply to the paved Eyachtalsträßchen back to the starting point Eyachmühle.
Option 2: Eyachmühle – on the paved Eyachtalsträßchen to the water lily pond, past the "Paul-Ochner-Brunnen", to Lehmannshof. Return as in Option 1.

Safety information
The Wasserweg section is about 2.5 km long and runs mostly directly along the bank of the Eyach. Some areas are impassable, sometimes muddy or flooded. Physical fitness and good footwear are absolutely necessary.
The hike takes place entirely on areas designated as nature reserves, landscape protection, and bird protection areas. The corresponding notices and rules must be strictly observed.
The most important rules
- do not leave the paths
(Foot traffic damages vegetation, rare plants die off. Typical bird species are driven away, nests are abandoned.) - do not let dogs run freely
(Breeding or foraging animals are disturbed.) - do not remove or damage plants
(Picking or digging up accelerates the extinction of endangered species.) - do not disturb, catch, or injure animals
(Undisturbed development of animals should be possible in the nature reserve.) - no fires
(Plants and small animals burn, nesting species are driven away.) - do not store or discard waste or other materials
(Biotopes are destroyed this way.) - no riding
(Hoof strikes damage vegetation and disturb animals.) - do not cause noise or disturb animals
(Especially shy and therefore endangered species leave the biotope and lose their habitat.)

Roadbook
Option 1: From the parking lot at the "Eyachmühle" guesthouse, you first cross the bridge on the so-called "Dobler Sträßle" (also "Dobel-Wildbad-Sträßle") with a moderate ascent. At the hairpin bend, we leave the path and go straight ahead, always below the "Tiefengrund" and "Nasskittelberg", which were heavily affected by the storm "Lothar". We pass the junction of the "Schaiblesweg" and further along also the "Hirschbrunnen" and reach the former "Lehmannshof" with a shelter and barbecue area after a small descent.
The return path to Eyachmühle leads from the barbecue area first across a meadow on the "Birken-Allee" located there. After that, the somewhat demanding path along the Eyach begins, the so-called "Wasserweg". It is demanding because small streams crossing the path direction cause "deep ground" in places, and often boulders have to be climbed over or bypassed. In some places, the path splits, and there is an upper and a lower passage. The remains of an old dam lie on the route as well as the remains of "Wasserfallen", which once served to irrigate the meadows to the right of the Eyach. On these meadows located between forest and stream and their edges, an "adapted fauna" has settled. Besides the babbling of the stream, these somewhat "isolated meadows" convey idyll and peace, which otherwise applies to very few valleys of the Northern Black Forest. Across the temporary bridge above the small dam of the Mannenbach water supply, we reach the paved Eyachtalsträßchen, on which we go downstream for about 1 km and reach the starting point Eyachmühle again.
Option 2: On the paved Eyachtalsträßchen uphill, past the water lily pond, the Paul-Ochner fountain, and an old quarry, to the Lehmannshof. Return as in Option 1.
