But even now, the hike around Roßbach is worthwhile. Near the cherry town of Witzenhausen, the path passes numerous orchards and gardens. In spring, the landscape is dotted with the white spots of cherry blossoms. Sections through nature reserves and juniper heaths, karst areas, and quiet forests await discovery on the P9 and make the path a varied hiking pleasure.
