This short tour is just right for a cheerful family outing. After a leisurely hike along the north shore of the small Hedrada reservoir, we will find a real little sandy beach with a picnic area. On weekdays, especially outside the season, you can usually enjoy yourself here quite undisturbed.
In the small hamlet of A Hedrada, we go past the church on the main road towards the eastern outskirts of the village. There used to be a wooden information board at the start of our path, but without any content. We take the old footpath which turns right downwards towards the reservoir. Immediately afterwards, we follow the sign 'Senda' (path) turning left onto the descending grassy path. Red-marked wooden posts show the way, which sometimes leads through meadows, sometimes through shady woodland. After about 10 minutes, we cross a stream and then continue right on the grassy path. We head towards the shore, walk briefly close to the water's edge, and then move away from it to the left. The path ascends a little and may possibly be somewhat overgrown. At the top, we see a gate to the right of the path while another 'Senda' sign directs us to the right. The path is better here and passes the cemetery, leading into the hamlet of Pradomao (just over 30 minutes from the start). We follow
