Enchanting Revellata Peninsula

From the parking lot, head to the junction at the Revellata track, then we follow the path northwards always keeping left, straight over the ridge to the tip of the peninsula with the widely visible Revellata lighthouse. After about 10 minutes, do not turn right (our later return route), but continue with slight ups and downs over the track along charming sea views alongside lovely macchia. After just under half an hour, a driveway to Anse l`Oscelluccia (shortcut of the route) branches off to the right at a cistern. After another 15 minutes, turn right at the fork and below the lighthouse, the ramp path to Phare de la Revellata branches off to the left. From here, there is a magnificent panoramic view over the picturesque Gulf of Revellata towards Calvi, with the fortress sitting like a bird’s nest on the mighty rock. In clear sight, behind it, the Corsican main ridge with the high 2000-meter mountains and Monte Cinto can also be made out. A few minutes back to the signboard at
