Roadbook
From the parking lot, we walk back along the road to the "Rommel" settlement and see the masts of the Langenberg transmitter on the left. We turn right and reach the "Flasdieck" settlement. Those who want to avoid the road can reach it from the parking lot by taking the path to the left of the parking lot. We walk past the "Flasdieck" settlement and continue down into the valley to reach the Felderbachtal. We walk briefly right along the road, then turn left and reach the Felderbach.
After crossing the stream, we walk briefly right and then immediately left through a small side valley up to the height. Where we meet a small road, we turn right and come to the "Eggendahl" settlement. We continue following the road, enjoy the views over the landscape, reach the houses of the "Am Schnüber" settlement, and turn right after the houses. At the next fork, we turn right again downhill to the houses of the "Am Niggen" settlement. We continue walking downhill along the road into the valley, reach a larger road, where we turn right, then immediately left onto a small path.
Now we are back in the Felderbachtal, which we follow upstream for some time. We walk straight ahead along the edge of the forest with views into the valley and enter a side valley. Where the meadow to the right turns into forest, we climb right up to a path, which we follow to the right. When walking around the hillside, we have to be careful, as at a small crossroads we must descend right into the forest on a narrow path. At the Laaker Mühle, we reach the Felderbach again.
We cross the road, shortly afterward turn right, and climb quite steeply up a narrow path up the mountain. We pass through a forest area and walk along meadows above the "Obere Blume" settlement. At the road, we turn left and continue uphill in a right curve following the road by the "Höhfeld" settlement. We now hike over the height, passing individual houses. Where we see a half-timbered house on the left, we turn left and go down to the parking lot where we started.
