The Eiger Trail runs right at the foot of the famous Eiger North Face and is one of the most impressive mountain hiking trails in the Bernese Oberland. The route connects Alpiglen (1,616 m) with the Eigergletscher station (approx. 2,320–2,346 m) and offers a close-up view of the massive, approximately 1,800-meter-high north face of the Eiger. At the same time, sweeping views of Grindelwald, the Wetterhorn, and the opposite peaks of the Jungfrau region open up time and again.
