Along the slope of the Eichelberg, the flat and entertaining path leads to the first viewpoint (with resting area) above the village. Before continuing around a small rock to the north, you should also visit the "Eichelbergplatte" viewpoint with bench (5 min). It's worth it. The distant view expands further eastward there and offers a more comprehensive panorama. Return briefly on the same path. From now on, the path is briefly flat, then mostly downhill, around an overhanging rock group, always further down the valley. At the lowest point, at a trail junction (signpost) in the Eicheltal, turn slightly right. On a wider forest road, we first ascend gently, then flatten and go downhill around the Haukenberg.
ATTENTION! - Campaign for respectful coexistence in nature
Always behave considerately, friendly and respectfully towards everyone you meet on the way.
Protect nature, do not destroy plants and always stay on the paths.
Bring a trash bag for the way and take your rubbish back home.
Please always keep your dog on a leash. Other visitors and animals will thank you.
Observe all trail closures for your own safety. Even on weekends.
Park only in designated parking spaces. Leave room for rescue routes and agricultural machinery.
Give priority to agricultural and forestry traffic.

Safety information
Especially in autumn, note that fallen leaves on the ground can hide uneven spots, roots, stones, or holes in the path. After thunderstorms or heavy rain, trees may still fall or branches may drop. Especially in adverse weather conditions, natural paths may have muddy and slippery sections. Not all rocks or cliffs are secured with ropes or rails. Surefootedness is required in places. You should expect such path impairments when hiking. If you believe certain sections are not passable for you, you should avoid them. Despite the "non-losing" marking of premium trails, for safety reasons we always recommend carrying a corresponding hiking map to find a safe area quickly in case of thunderstorm or emergency.
NOTE:
We strive to announce all closures due to forestry work or hunting groups on this platform. However, there are situations where trails are closed and we may not have been informed. If you encounter closures or detours on site, please observe the notices for your own safety.

Equipment
Sturdy footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, sun and rain protection, as well as sufficient supplies of food and drink, should be carried if no dining or shopping facilities are available or open. Although the path is consistently very well marked, for safety reasons you should always have a suitable hiking map with you.Localization
