Roadbook
At the small chapel Mariabrunn, follow the paved road uphill (yellow sign "Tutzinger Hütte via Kohstatt-Alm"). After about 15 minutes you reach the forest road AV 455 and follow it to the Kohlstatt-Alm (not operated). Shortly afterward, leave the forest road to the left and hike through the valley of the Schmiedlaine to the Hochalm Eibelsfleck (not operated). Very beautiful views of the Benediktenwand are offered by crossing the Eibelsfleck.
Detour: the Tutzinger Hütte, open in the summer months and Christmas holidays, is about 30 minutes’ walk from here.
Now go down the forest road and at the fork turn onto path AV 456 down into the Lainbach valley. At the non-operated Söldner Alm follow the wild stream nature trail to the chapel Mariabrunn.
