The Eggersteig is an easy hiking trail that leads down from Aschbach to Rabland.
By cable car from Rabland to the idyllic mountain village Aschbach (1,362 m). From the mountain station follow trail 27A, initially on the forest road through the woods to the junction with path no. 27. From there continue on path no. 30 to Mahlbach (1,218 m - water reservoir) and then on trail 29 for about 10 minutes; at the fork in the forest road turn right and descend on this for about 25 minutes with two hairpin bends to the marked trail no. 9. Follow this downhill to the left for 20 minutes to Gasthaus Brünnl and continue to Gasthof Gramegg. Over the paved road past Gasthaus Niederhof (811 m) to the junction with the road to Aschbach. Here follow trail 29A to the "Badlweg (forest path Töll)" to the valley station of the Aschbach cable car (525 m).
