To meet certain ambitions of capable mountain hikers and to convey the typically high-alpine character of the region, a summit destination is usually presented in the area of the most important mountain huts. For the New Regensburger Hut, the local mountain is the Eastern Knotenspitze and is at least a three-thousander. Mark Zahel
