We experience unique moments in harmony with nature during a break at the biotope or at the former ore mining pit. The "Old Oak" natural monument or the view of the Soonwald forest also provide a very special atmosphere.

Roadbook
The tour starts over a small Geierlay, which can also be bypassed, and initially leads over part of the leisure area. After a section of meadow above the leisure area, we cross a bridge into the forest. We follow the signs and enjoy the pleasant freshness of the forest. A few hundred meters further on, we reach the biotope on the left. Here you have the opportunity to listen to and observe nature.
We continue along an idyllic forest path that leads over a wooden footbridge through a dreamy section of forest. Follow the path to the next signpost. From here, we take the steps to the right onto an exciting path or can shorten the tour straight ahead.
We follow the narrow path through the forest until we cross a paved forest path. On the opposite side, we cross a small footbridge onto a meadow path, which leads us back into the forest. After a few hundred meters, we come to a former ore mine. Iron ore used to be mined here. The mine is still clearly visible. A comfortable seating area invites you to linger and take a short break.
Continue along a paved forest path to the crossroads at the red refuge. This is also a great place for a short break.
On the right behind the red hut, a narrow path takes us deeper into the forest again. We pass through a shady section of forest and after a few minutes reach an impressive natural monument, the old oak tree. We like to stop here for a moment and let the impressions sink in.
We then follow the path further through the forest until we leave the forest via a small footbridge and reach a peaceful section of meadow. After a short while, we reach a bench between fields and meadows, from where we can enjoy a wonderful view of the Soonwald forest if visibility is good.
The path continues slightly downhill to the left, back to the start and finish point at the leisure area. For families with children, the large playground with numerous play equipment is a great place to end the tour.
