Selected alternatives for you

The unique route, whose highlight is hiking through the Ehrbachklamm, where you get up close with rock and water and listen to the babbling of the stream, also leads over ridges and through the silence of beech forests, enchanting with views of the Hunsrück heights.

The Dream Loop Ehrbachklamm was rated with 99 experience points by the German Hiking Institute.

There is no traffic noise – dominant in the silence of the forest is only the babbling of the Ehrbach, which especially wells up from the depth of the gorge on the high-standing Peterslay with a view of Rauschenburg. Try the forest echo at Hübingen!

The shepherd’s spring at Winkelholz is said to strengthen love when drinking from it. Already in the early Middle Ages, the Ehrbach valley was recognized as a side valley of the Moselle and a connection to Boppard on the Rhine as a strategically favorable and attractive location. Today it is the dream destination for hikers. To best experience the beauties of the Ehrbachklamm as well as the babbling and waterfalls of the stream, you must hike the Dream Loop against the current and thus counterclockwise. Sturdy footwear is required.

Hallo Uwe? Uhrzeigersinn heisst was genau? Dann suche ich mal die GPX Datei. Danke!

Gruss, Ellen Friedrich
