From the most beautiful village in Saxony, the path leads to the artificial flower town of Sebnitz. From the mountains, one looks towards Saxony and Bohemia.
From the town center in Hinterhermsdorf, we hike on the Alte Nixdorfer Straße (marked with a "blue line") to Weifberg. The new observation tower on Weifberg offers a beautiful panoramic view over this border tip and beyond. Mikulášovice (Nixdorf) is a large town just past the border to the Czech Republic. The old names always remind us that the landscape and its people, despite the unchanged borders since the mid-15th century, have felt more of what unites than separates them. Today, we reconnect here. The Nixdorfer Straße again connects both towns without obstacles. It opens up the Tanečnice (dance plan) and the area of Mikulášovice. Shortly before, we turn onto the Dr.-Alfred-Meiche-Weg. Close to the border, the path leads up to Wachberg. From the garden of the Wachbergbaude, you can overlook the Elbe Sandstone Mountains from Lilienstein to Hinterhermsdorf. And some Bohemian mountains also greet from across. The onward path (marked with a blue line) takes us past the Waldhaus
