Varied circular hike with beautiful viewpoints and cultural highlights around Amtzell.
Amtzell is the starting point of this varied circular hike through Upper Swabia. It first leads on asphalt and side roads past the Church of St. Johannes and Mauritius as well as the historic Old Castle. After the Cosner Platz Amtzell, you leave the town center and hike on field paths and natural trails towards Alberberg and Dietenweiler.
At the viewpoint, there are beautiful views of the surroundings. The Streuobst educational trail at Kapellenberg invites you to linger and explore. Through forest areas, along meadows, and on short ascents, you reach Korb. A picnic at the Grillplatz Hasenwinkel is possible. Back in Amtzell, a visit to the Vogler's hammer smithy is worthwhile. The route is moderate, requires basic fitness, and includes moderate climbs (163 m elevation).
