Easy circular hiking trail without significant inclines, both on a paved cycle path and on a natural field path in the Schwarzbach valley between Rieschweiler-Mühlbach and Dellfeld.
The circular route leads through the beautiful Schwarzbach valley past meadows and fields, reed areas, and deciduous forest. Several resting benches invite you to linger and enjoy the varied views. Due to the gentle incline and several play opportunities, the path is very family-friendly.
UFFBASSE! - Campaign for considerate coexistence in nature
Fire & Smoking - Making fire, smoking, and grilling are strictly forbidden and must absolutely be avoided in the forest! Fires and thus major damage to nature and wildlife can only be prevented in this way.
Be considerate on the way - Always behave in a foresighted, friendly, and considerate manner towards everyone you meet on the way.
Nature conservation - Stay on designated paths and avoid unnecessary noise when you are out in nature. Leave the forest at dusk at the latest to avoid disturbing the rhythm of nocturnal animals.
Picnic & Waste - Think of a trash bag for on the go and take rubbish back home with you. Use only the furnished resting places for breaks and picnics.
Dogs on a leash - Please always keep your dog on a leash. Other visitors and animals thank you.

Tips and suggestions
The name BANK-Räubertour originated from the working group of the Heimatverein 1998 e.V Rieschweiler-Mühlbach. Under the project “BANK-Räuber” all resting benches were brought into focus. In this project, around one hundred benches have now been renovated or newly installed. Nothing was closer than to connect the benches through hiking routes. Subsequently, the idea of the hiking trail network “BANK-Räubertouren” in Rieschweiler Mühlbach with 7 different focuses emerged.
The “Sellemols” action with its rural scenes, captured on large photos at over 70 former farms, can be found in both districts. A special guide with explanations is available from the Heimatverein for this purpose.
The “Place of Diversity” is a bee-friendly redesigned traffic triangle with old street games for children, a large variety of plants, and old agricultural equipment on display. The place was awarded in the Hamburg Neighborhood Network campaign “every meadow counts.”
Along the Schwarzbach through the districts Rieschweiler-Mühlbach leads the Pirminius cycle path, from Hornbach to Hauenstein (60 km).
Roadbook
The starting point is Rieschweiler train station. The circular route begins behind the Schwarzbach bridge on the Pirminius cycle path towards Dellfeld, past the old weir, two grain mills, and the first playground next to the anglers' clubhouse. Until crossing the Schwarzbach at the next bridge, there are resting opportunities at 4 benches. On this side of the stream, 2 further benches from the municipality follow until you pass the Dellfeld boundary. In the center of Dellfeld village, leave the cycle path, cross the railway crossing, and turn into Vordergasse. You will pass another playground along the way. At the end of the street, turn left into Kleinbachstraße to cross the Aschbach and then immediately turn left again into Hubstraße. This street leads out of the village and becomes an unpaved field path. First along the forest edge and shortly thereafter along meadows and fields, you will return to Rieschweiler. On this field path, there is only one bench in the “Butterloch” to linger. Arriving in Rieschweiler in the Hechtloch, you will find on the right the “Place of Diversity,” a redesigned traffic triangle. After having absorbed enough nature, head back on the asphalt road towards the train station. In Hechtloch, you can rest once again at a nice spot. Then you will reach the train station fountain square, the starting point.
