After passing Masarei and Cherz, follow trail no. 45 to Malga Cherz. From the mountain hut, the trail continues uphill towards the plateau of the same name.
As you gain altitude, the landscape gradually changes: the wooded section gives way to the wide green meadows and colourful alpine flowers of the Cherz Plateau, offering beautiful views of the surrounding Dolomites.
The trail then descends towards Campolongo Pass. From here, follow trail no. 638 to return to Arabba, completing the loop.
An enjoyable hike combining woodland paths, alpine meadows and spectacular Dolomite scenery, with the option of adding a visit to the picturesque hamlets of Masarei and Cherz.
