The starting point is the district of Alpendorf. From here, take the road uphill past the hotels and guesthouses and take the left turn towards Ötzmoos/Sedlhof. Pass the two guesthouses and take the right turn onto Dachmannweg/Kreistenalm. Here you follow the path until you reach the Kreistenalm (refreshment opportunity).
Return to Alpendorf by following the hiking trail that leads downhill from the mountain station of the lift, past the hotel pension Sternhof and Gut Berg back to the starting point.
