The circular route D1 leads us mainly on natural paths through beautiful mixed forest to the heights of Wolfenacker and back down to the valley.
The beautiful circular route D1 starts at the lively Wied and soon leaves the small village of Datzeroth behind. We hike on many natural paths through the forest and across fields steadily uphill to Wolfenacker. A small section goes through the village and into the beautiful mixed forest up to the highest point at 240 m. Now we only walk downhill to the valley, where the Wied welcomes us again. We cross the small bridge back to the parking lot.
