During the season, you will hardly be alone on this route. Of course, there is a reason for this, as many of the main attractions of the Karwendel are located along this path. If you want to go against the flow, head from east to west.
1st day: From Scharnitz to the viewpoint Karwendelblick and further through the Karwendeltal via the Larchetalm to the Karwendelhaus . 2nd day: From the Karwendelhaus, the summit of Birkkarspitze is recommended. Then via the Hermann-von-Barth-Denkmal or the Kleine Ahornboden to the Falkenhütte.3rd day: From the Falkenhütte, you should not miss the ascent of the not difficult Mahnkopf. Afterwards, we cross under the Laliderer walls to the Hohljoch and descend from there to the Engalm. Continue via Binsalm and Western Lamsenjoch to the Lamsenjochhütte. 4th day: The Lamsenjochhütte also offers peaks if desired. The descent from the hut initially leads to the Gasthof Gramaialm, from where a bus ride is possible, or continue on foot via the Falzthurnalm to Pertisau .An alternative is the descent from the Lamsenjochhütte via the Stallenalm to the Inn valley.
