This varied hike takes us from the lively coastal town of Rapallo up into the tranquil forests of the Ligurian Apennines. We pass the peaks of Monte Zuccarello (607 m) and Monte Castello (658 m), from where we enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the Gulf of Tigullio and the surrounding coastal landscape. An absolute highlight of the tour is a visit to the pilgrimage church of Nostra Signora di Montallegro, a place of great historical importance, whose current construction began in the 16th century and was rebuilt after being destroyed in the Second World War.
