A pleasant walk on an easy path with a beautiful view of the traditional settlements of Stavros with a visit to the most famous church of the area built on a rock.
The village of Stavros consists of scattered settlements. From the settlement of Dafnata, this route follows the asphalt road for a short distance to Komianata, where a pleasant path begins, that crosses, among low Mediterranean vegetation, the slope with a continuous view of the Ionian Sea and the Halikouna lagoon. With small altitude variations, the Corfu Paths route reaches the traditional chapel of Pantocrator "Tou Dimou". The temple is built on a rock and is a reference point for the surrounding area. Every second Sunday after Easter, the so-called Sunday of Myrophores, a Litany is held from the central church of the village to the chapel. The return is made by a passable dirt road that climbs higher on the same slope and passes between cultivated areas and Mediterranean vegetation, arriving with a final descent back to Dafnata.
