The small Coran Valley is an ecological treasure hidden away, offering a great diversity of natural landscapes to explore over its 11 kilometers of trails. You will be immersed in a unique ecosystem, with wet alder and ash woods, marshy meadows, and rocky slopes covered with oak forests and mountain plants.
The fauna and flora are exceptionally rich, notably including the European mink, a rare species that has found refuge here. Along the way, you can enjoy the surrounding nature by practicing a variety of activities such as fishing, swimming, mountain biking, or other outdoor sports.
The route starts at the Saint-Sauvant church and takes you through the Coran Valley to the Bujoliers pond in Saint-Césaire, passing by the Paleosite. Throughout the trail, you will discover many picturesque fountains that once provided drinking water to the local inhabitants.
