"Thoughts uphill" - under the aspects of nature, culture or spirituality, the contemplative path Epfendorf leads along 10 stations from the Neckar in the center of Epfendorf up to the Marienkapelle. Each aspect is marked by a corresponding color scheme; information at the stations points to the respective impulses.
Contemplative path - Thoughts uphill. A path that is more than just a physical route. Each station is marked with three different color spots where everyone can contribute their thoughts. Nature lovers as well as those who want to be made aware of the various cultural treasures in this area. And the aim is to reach the heights with spiritual depth. The information panels at the individual stations point to the threefold accents through which everyone can be personally inspired. The initiators, committed citizens from the town, the Catholic parish of St. Remigius as the sponsor, and local clubs and groups who have taken on sponsorships for the stations of the path, are pleased when young and old, individuals, families, and groups are invited to embark on a journey of discovery in nature, culture, and/or spirituality. The invitation stands: Simply take a turn away from everyday life – with "Thoughts uphill".
