Easily accessible from Seis throughout the entire summer half-year by cable car and subsequent bus ride, the hotel settlement Saltria on the eastern edge of the Seiser Alm is a "hub," a centrally located starting point for a variety of hikes. Among the most recommended is a visit to the Confinboden beneath the northwest cliffs of the Langkofel range. There, resting on magnificent alpine meadows, the rock giants surrounding the Langkofelkar present themselves in an incomparably magnificent way. Taking the upper path over the Piz da Uridl and returning via the forest road makes a circular route that deserves good mood and perfect weather. A tour that is also suitable for children with an overnight stay in a hut.
From the alpine bus stop in Saltria, we hike on the forest road (path no. 30) past the base station of the Florian lift to the Radauer Schwaige and there reach a fork. We turn right onto the wide path no. 7A, walk past the Saltner Schwaige, 1728 m, through meadows and forest plots over a long ridge moderately steeply uphill to a forest track (path no. 9). We follow this straight ahead (to the right is the nearby mountain hut Zallinger) over a ridge steeply uphill, later the path runs along the west slope of Plattkofel still steeply up to the Plattkofel hut, 2300 m, at the Fassajoch. On the ascent path, we go back a short way to the right fork of path no. 527. We follow this down in a northerly direction along the grass and scree slopes at the foot of Plattkofel, lastly through a block zone to the grassy shoulder of Piz da Uridl, 2101 m, also known as the "High Corner." It goes downhill east through meadows and a sparse pine stand. Then the path leads along the north walls of Plattkofel
